Man fatally shot during fight inside his SW Houston ‘drug house’

A man was shot dead early Wednesday during a fight inside his home in southwest Houston, according to Houston police.

Police said the victim let the male suspect into his home just after midnight in the 13100 block of Townwood

The men likely knew each other, police said. They were together inside the home for a short time, police said, but at some point, the victim wanted the man out.

A fight broke out just before the shooting occurred. The suspect fled the scene, most likely with the weapon, police said.

Police were speaking to witnesses overnight. Investigators described the home as a known “drug house.
