Alliance for Disaster Relief donated $ 15000.00 worth of needed medical supplies to the City of Houston PPE Donation Drive for Health Care Professionals & first responders:

Houston, TX: Community organizations, including Alliance for Disaster Relief, an umbrella of Pakistani associations along with the Hon. Consul General Abrar Hashmi of Pakistan, businesses and individual citizens arrived at Minute Maid Park to donate personal protective equipment (PPE) for COVID-19 first responders and municipal employees in essential roles. Mayor of Houston Hon. Sylvester Turner along with his core team came to receive the donations and in a press conference highly appreciated the effort of Pakistani Organizations of the Alliance &  Mr. Javaid Anwar, Amir Makhani & The Jago Times Group of Publicaton of Dallas for their support.

The City of Houston partnered with many local organizations for the PPE drive. The Alliance for Disaster Relief donated PPE products worth $15,000 which included thousands of KN95 Masks, surgical masks, face shields, Medical Grade Gloves, protective coveralls, a dozen boxes of hand sanitizers & wipes etc.

Alliance Coordinator Mr. Muhammad Saeed Sheikh also announced during the press conference on a donation of $10,000.00 to the project CURE From Mr. Javaid Anwar.

Mr. Haroon Sheikh, President PAGH, Mian Nazeer, former president PAGH Mahmood Ahmed & Tariq Hameed were also present at the occasion.:
