A 31-year-old man is dead after a shooting incident Wednesday night in Lake Highlands.
Officers responded about 10:34 p.m. to the 9700 block of West Ferris Branch Boulevard, where investigators became aware that a man taken by private vehicle to a local hospital had been shot at the location.
Dante Harris was ultimately pronounced dead of his injuries.
