Man fatally shot in southeast Dallas, police say

A 22-year-old man was found fatally shot Thursday morning in southeast Dallas, police said.

Officers were called just before 8 a.m. to the 7300 block of Elam Road, where they found the victim, identified by police as William Nathaniel Davis.

He had been shot multiple times and died at the scene, police said.

Police said the shooting suspects fled in a 4-door gold vehicle but provided no detailed description of their appearance or of the vehicle.

Police did not provide any information about what led to the shooting.
