Police were called the evening of June 18 to the 13700 block of C.F. Hawn Freeway, in the Rylie area of southeastern Dallas. They found 24-year-old Dayzoin Clark dead from a gunshot wound.

According to an arrest-warrant affidavit, a witness who lived at the apartment with Clark told police that Henson had come over and was showing off his gun. While he was clearing the firearm it discharged, striking Clark, police said.

Henson fled and did not attempt to contact police, the affidavit says.

He was booked into the Dallas County jail July 1 and later posted bond on $100,000 bail. It’s unclear whether he has an attorney.
