2 men wounded in shootout at grocery store parking lot in east Oak Cliff

Two men were wounded in a shootout outside a grocery store in east Oak Cliff early Sunday.

Dallas police were called to the parking lot of the Fiesta Mart in the 3000 block of South Lancaster Road, near East Kiest Boulevard, just before 2 a.m.

According to police, two men had opened fire at each other, possibly over a woman. Neither man’s name was released.

Both men were struck, but neither suffered life-threatening injuries, police said. The woman was uninjured.

Authorities recovered three handguns from the scene of the shooting. It was unclear whether any arrests had been made.
