Man found dead in parking lot of apartment complex in SE Houston

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Houston police are investigating after a man was found dead in the parking lot of an apartment complex in southeast Houston Tuesday morning. HPD: Man shot during drug deal in Ellington-area park

One man was shot in a drug deal gone wrong at an Ellington-area park Monday night, Houston police said. Houston police officers arrived at Gulf Palms Park, on 12000 Palm Springs, around 10:30 p.m. Several men in the park were conducting a drug deal when an argument occurred over the payment, said Lt. Cousin accused of setting Fifth Ward house on fire, killing six dogs

Six dogs died Monday night in a house fire in Houston’s Fifth Ward  after a man was believed to have intentionally started the blaze at his cousin’s home.
