Thick fog, then storms Sunday night

Sunday begins cloudy and foggy with areas of drizzle and spotty light rain showers. A Dense Fog Advisory will be in effect through noon for much of the area. Be sure to slow down and use extra caution while driving.

A storm system will move across Texas late Sunday and Sunday night, bringing a higher chance of widespread rain and thunderstorms to North Texas. There is the potential for some strong storms Sunday night. The main threat with any strong to severe storms is expected to be marginally severe hail and perhaps damaging wind gusts.
