Walk-up vaccinations available Saturday at Fair Park until 5 p.m.

People can get a vaccine shot Saturday at Fair Park without an appointment until 5 p.m., Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins announced.

Registration can be done at the site, and people should enter Gates 2 or 10, Jenkins said in a news release.

The county has Pfizer vaccine available at the Fair Park site, and there were no lines there as of about 1:45 p.m. Saturday, he tweeted.

The major vaccination site had been closed Friday due to inclement weather. People who were scheduled to get vaccinated Friday can go back to the site Saturday with their QR code and get a shot, Jenkins said.

People must be 16 or older to get a vaccine. Those younger than 18 must have a legal guardian with them.
