24-year-old woman found shot to death in Pleasant Grove, police say

A woman was found shot to death inside a car in Pleasant Grove on Sunday night, police said.

Officers responded to a shooting call about 10 p.m. to the 6900 block of Sarah Lee Drive, near North Jim Miller Road.

When they arrived, they found the victim, 24-year-old Juana Monjaras, unresponsive inside a black Dodge Challenger, police said.

Officers removed the woman from the car and saw that she had been shot. The woman died at the scene, police said.

No suspect information was available Monday morning.
