The World Cup is being held in the UAE and our cricket team flew off to the venue on October 15 ahead of their first match on October 24.

The team was spotted looking dapper in their new jerseys. The PCB officially unveiled the jerseys to the public on October 15 and they are now available for purchase by fans eager to wear the same duds as Babar Azam and the gang.

Shadab Khan seems particularly excited about the new design. He shared his jersey number with followers on Instagram Stories.

Many players such as captain Azam, Hassan Ali and Khan updated fans about their departure on their personal social media accounts.

Ali gave us a behind-the-scenes picture from the plane that took the team to the UAE and looks like he travelled with his family.

The team arrived safely in the UAE and have since checked into their hotels. Azam gave fans a look at his personal suite on Instagram. The cricketer will be enjoying some killer views from his window, that’s for sure.

Pakistan’s first match on October 24 will be against cricket rivals India. Talk about heading into the World Cup with a bang. Fans on both sides of the border are nervous and excited as they rally behind their home teams. Netizens have started to count down the days till the world sees both teams walk onto the stadium pitch.

An India versus Pakistan cricket match is always electrifying for both the players and fans. There is truly no such thing as a boring match between these two.

Pakistani cricket fans don’t just hope to see a victory against India. They went the team to ultimately bring the World Cup trophy back home, just like they did in 2009.
