5 arrested in Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown theft ring

Five male suspects are facing felony charges for allegedly stealing nearly $5,000 from patrons at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Splashtown near Spring.

The five suspects reportedly stole backpacks and more than $4,400 in property from visitors before fleeing the water park Thursday, according to a release from Harris County Constable Precinct 4.

Police located a vehicle in the 21300 block of the North Freeway, according to the release. The stolen property and money was located in the suspects’ car and was returned to the rightful owners, the release said.

Reginal Simmons, Sheldon Saunders, Alexander Addarich, Tyrin Thompson and Kristan Brown were arrested and charged with felony theft, according to the release. One of the five, Simmons, had an open felony warrant for aggravated robbery.

Police believe the five suspects could be linked to several thefts in the park over the last month, and organized crime charges against all five may be filed pending the investigation.
