Sindh approves Rs10.3bn schemes

KARACHI: The Sindh Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) on Thursday approved nine schemes worth Rs10.310 billion.

The meeting was chaired by Chairman Planning and Development Board Muhammad Waseem.

One scheme worth Rs210.307 million was approved for plan period extension including establishment of Women Development Complex at Sukkur.

One scheme each has been earmarked for Livestock and Fisheries and Forest and Wildlife. Two non-ADP schemes approved for the Home Department. These include construction of two-storey malkhana at City Court Karachi at a cost of Rs29.846m.

Four ADP schemes were approved at a cost of Rs3,243.370m. These include a Health Department project for extension of services at SIUT Karachi worth Rs3,243.370m as well as one project each for local government, agriculture and school education.
