Relatives collect bodies of three men ‘missing’ from Punjab

SUKKUR: The bodies of three men found dumped near Ghotki district’s Naukot village along the National Highway on Friday were collected by their relatives on Saturday.

It appeared that the names and addresses inscribed on the paper slips affixed by their killers on each of the bodies were correct as their relatives came from Punjab.

Talib Hussain, paternal uncle of deceased Yasir, Mehmood Khan, maternal uncle of deceased Abdul Malik, and Masud Butt, father of deceased Abubakar Butt, were quoted by local reporters as saying that their loved ones had been kidnapped many months ago and since then they had no clue to them nor had they received any ransom demand.

It is pertinent to mention here that the paper slips also carried a message in Urdu: Ghaddari ki saza maut [the penalty for treachery is death]. All of them were killed with one bullet to the head.
