16-year-old Houston girl reported missing, according to HPD

Houston police are searching for a missing 16-year-old girl last seen in the Acres Homes area.

An HPD news release issued Tuesday said that Bethany Miller, also known as Bethany Miller-Holst, was last seen Friday at 6:30 p.m. in the 6700 block of Sealey St. She had on a white T-shirt, blue jeans and tennis shoes.

According to the HPD release,  Bethany is white with brown eyes, and short pink dyed hair. She is said to be  5-foot-7, 130 pounds and has a birthmark on her upper right thigh.

However, people familiar with the girl say she is actually 5-foot-6, 110 pounds with green eyes.
