Meera is a force to be reckoned with in the new Baaji trailer

The trailer for the much-awaited Baaji is finally here and it’s everything we hoped for and more.

While the teaser had left us confused, the trailer gives us an idea of what to expect and also has peaked our interest

Meera plays Shameera – oh yes – an actor who is being side-lined for her age but won’t let anyone hold her back. She finds a companion in Amna Ilyas but when her fellows from the industry find the latter as star potential, things become sour.

As previously revealed, the flick is “a social drama/thriller set against the backdrop of a fading Lollywood and the emerging new order of the Pakistan film industry.”

Ali Kazmi, Mohsin Abbas Haider and Nayyar Ejaz also feature in Baaji; the film comes out June 28.
