MOSCOW (UrduPoint News / Sputnik – ) Two modernized Meridian-M military communications satellites will be launched before the end of this year, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said Friday.

“Two upgraded communications satellites of the Meridian-M series will be launched by the end of the year,” Shoigu said at a meeting of the Defense Ministry board, without specifying the details of the project.

He added that the Russian military will complete the formation of the Blagovest orbital group consisting of four military communications satellites
