A man died Sunday morning in a fatal forklift accident in an industrial area in southeast Houston, according to a Harris County official.
Two men were operating the forklift on Nunn Street Sunday morning, with one at the wheel and the other in the bucket, according to news reports
The man in the bucket died, but police had not yet reported the details, according to ABC13.
The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences first got word of a workplace accident involving the death of a Hispanic man at 9:15 a.m. and received a follow up call from law enforcement at 10:34 a.m., an investigator at the office said. Investigators were on the scene.
The man’s common law wife was notified by authorities of his death, according to the county’s forensics institute
A spokesman for Houston Police said he did not yet have a report back from officers about the fatality.
