A mother was arrested Saturday after she kicked her 10-year-old son out of a car for spilling food, abandoning him at a busy Houston intersection.
Kesa Brown faces child endangerment charges for leaving the boy in the 2500 block of North Sam Houston Parkway at Veterans Memorial Drive. He was found at a nearby gas station, where he told authorities his mom made him get out of the car for accidentally spilling food, according to the Precinct 4 Harris County Constable’s Office
Child Protective Services has been contacted. The child was released to a guardian.
Brown was arrested and her bond was set at $15,000. She was already out on bond from a previous case involving the boy, authorities said.
