HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A few cooling downpours could pop up Monday afternoon.
A weak upper low hanging nearby most of next week, a downpour could pop up any afternoon as temperatures climb into the upper 80s to low 90s.
Hurricane season begins Monday, and we’ll be watching a Gulf Disturbance in the coming days. The remnants of once Tropical Storm Amanda will cross in to the Gulf of Mexico, and has a chance to redevelop into a new storm. This isn’t an immediate threat to our area, but bears watching in the coming days as models continue to show that it has the potential to strengthen.
