Alnoor international host their annual Mushaira poetry session on a cruise ship in Dallas lake.

Dallas: Promoter of Urdu and Hindi language AlNoor International and Welfare Group Beauty of Humanity hosted a poetry session Mushaira at a pristine and scenic lake in Dallas on a cruise ship. Mushaira was presided by Dr. Shamsa Qureshi, where several Urdu and Hindi poets including Shabeena Adeeb, Charan Singh, Khalid Irfan, Shabnam Siddiqui, Noor Amrohvi, Sheikh Ajaz, Masood Qazi, Mubashir Waraich, Ghazala Habib, Ahmad Shah Ghazali, Pir Mood Rajpoot, Asif Nathani, and Zahra Chishti presented their poetry. The visiting poets from India, Shabeena Adeeb and Charan Singh were the main attraction of the event. Sheikh Ajaz of the welfare organization “Beauty of Humanity”, which works in Pakistan, India and Bangladesh, shed lights on the work of this group and presented a documentary on its work. Azhar Aziz who is the President of Islamic Society of North America started the fundraiser by donating one thousand dollars to the group. Several others added to the fund through their generous contributions.

Visiting poet from India Shabeena Adeeb while talking to Jago Times correspondent said that this is her first tour of US, but she enjoyed the ship Mushaira a lot. She said that we are binding people together through our poetry. Charan Singh Bashar praised the services of Dr. Noor Amrohvi, whom he said is on for a great service to the language and culture of Urdu and Hindi. Several awards were also presented in which peace award went to New York Life’s Shaukat Mohammad, and journalism award was presented to Raja Zahid Khanzada. The ship Mushaira stay continued for three hours where people were entertained by the poetry and scenic tour of the lake
