QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – APP – 26th Apr, 2019 ) :A camp for anti-polio vaccination has been set up at mountain of Lasbella in wake of three-day Annual Festival Hinglaj to administer the polio drops to children of Hindu pilgrims under the age of five year.
On special directives of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Jam Kamal Khan, Deputy Commissioner Lasbella Shabir Ahmed Mengal formed eight teams of polio workers where they are offering their responsibility at suburbs areas for Hinglaj, despite, anti-polio camp was established for Hindu Yaatries’s children.
Three day of annual Festival of Hinglaj Mata has begun on Friday which would be continued till April28, near River Hangol area of Lasbella district. Besides local pilgrims, Hindu communities’ pilgrims are coming from different countries including India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives to attend the Annual Festival of Hinglaj Mata. The Hinglaj Mata Temple is situated in desolated and hilly area of Balochistan‘s Lasbella district and it is called a Hindu pilgrimage place in Balochsitan.
In light of direction of Chief Minister Balochistan, Health Department and WHO teams are passing the mountains of suburb areas on camels for administering anti-polio drops to children of participation of Hindu Yaatries under age of five year in supervision of local administrations.
Deputy Commissioner Lasbella Shabir Ahmed Mengal has made all possible arrangements for ensuring provision of facilities to Hindu pilgrims on the occasion of Annual Festival of Hinglaj Mata, despite, security forces including Levies forces, police and Balochistan Frontier Corps (FC) personnel had been deployed at sensitive areas of festival to ensure foolproof security.
Hindu community and Pundits appreciated the Chief Minister Balochisan Mir Jam Kamal for providing medicines worth Rs, one million for ensuring treatment of Hindu devotees on eve of Hinglaj Festival, despite they also lauded role of security forces on better arrangement of checking systems
