Ashura being observed with religious fervour across Texas

Dallas:Yaum e Ashoor was observed with religious rituals and somber ceremonies in DFW. Ashora procession started at JFK Memorial in downtown Dallas. The procession participated by large number of men, women, and children where they had symbols of the procession, exhibiting allegiance and devotions to Ahl e bait (house of prophet) martyrs of Karbala. Marchers were chanting and expressing them grieves in the forms of Marsia and Nohas. Allama Abul Qasim while addressing the grieving crowd said that in the fight of good and evil, the martyrs of Karbala got the greatest victory. Those martyrs by giving their blood, gave Islam an eternal life. He said the evil forces are still around and Husainiat and its followers will keep fighting these forces. He said that sacrifices of martyrs of Krabala will always be guiding light to humanity. On the other hand, Momin Center in Irving and ILM Center in Plano and Aqsa Center in Richardson held majalis from first to tenth of Moharram. Niaz, lungar and sabeel was also arranged during this period.A large procession was also hosted in Houston which came out from City Hall. A large number of Men, women and children marched along the way of procession. All Imam bargah’s in Houston hosted gatherings and events to mourn the highest level of sacrifices in human history
