Atascocita business helps Gold Star widow get fresh start on Lifetime’s Military Makeover

A Lake Houston area business owner is excited for the opportunity to be a blessing to a military family.

Atascocita-based owner of JDog Junk Removal & Hauling Tim Colomer will be featured on Military Makeover, a Lifetime Network television show hosted by veteran and television personality Montel Williams

Military Makeover enlists designers, contractors, landscapers and other home improvement professionals to help military families get a fresh start with a renovated home. The special Colomer will be featured on debuts Friday at 7:30 a.m.

On Friday’s episode, Colomer’s team will be renovating the hurricane-damaged house of Gold Star widow Cody Patron. Cody’s husband (Daniel) was an IED tech who was killed in the line of duty in 2011.

On Aug. 6, 2011 Sergeant Daniel Patron was killed in Sangin Valley, Afghanistan after serving more than a decade in the Marine Corps. The show will help the Patron family get a fresh start at their Panama City, Florida home with a free set of major renovations
