Car ripped in half, 1 dead after 3-vehicle accident on Gulf Fwy

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A car was ripped in half from impact of a three-vehicle accident that left one man dead in southeast Houston Saturday morning, according to police.

The crash happened around 12:30 a.m. on the Gulf Freeway at Monroe.

Police said two cars and a pickup truck crashed into each other.

Three people were taken to the hospital in stable condition.
