NEW YORK: Police have found a note outside the torched California mosque referencing a white supremacist’s fatal mass-shooting of 50 Muslim worshippers in Christchurch, according to a report.

While the exact contents of the missive were not immediately divulged. However,  police have launched an investigation about  a possible arson at a California mosque after found after finding a  note.

The unapprehended firebug started a blaze at Dar-ul-Arqam in Escondido around 3:15am local time on Sunday. Several people in the mosque had came outside and extinguished the fire before authorities arrived. The fire had damaged the exterior of the building, while no causalities were reported.
