A 75-year-old man was arrested late Friday in connection with the fatal shooting of a woman outside a Richardson grocery store earlier that day. Eddie Leon Williams, of Garland, was charged with murder in the slaying of Kathryn Elizabeth Kramer, an 80-year-old Richardson native. It was unclear whether he had an attorney. Dallas County moves COVID-19 threat level back up to orange, or ‘extreme caution’

Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins announced late Friday that effective immediately the county has increased its coronavirus threat level to orange for unvaccinated people in response to a surge in coronavirus cases and hospitalizations.
