Dengue virus spreading fast in Punjab cities

Dengue fever is spreading fast in many cities of Punjab as further two cases have come out within 24 hours in Sargodha while five patients are under treatment at Nishtar Hospital in Multan.

Geo News reported that the number of dengue patients have been increased to 166 in Sargodha district in 38 days.

The number of patients being treated at the District Headquarter Teaching Hospital is ten.

In Multan, three patients were brought, as suspect of dengue virus to the Nishtar Hospital in Multan. Their test reports are being awaited.

According to a spokesman of the Health Department, five dengue patients are being treated at the Nishtar Hospital.
