Despite differences, Mahira Khan in awe of Meera in ‘Parey Hut Love’

Pakistani VJ-turned-actress Mahira Khan, who has films like SRK-starrer ‘Raees’ to her credit, has sung praises for Meera’s work in the trailer of an upcoming movie ‘Parey Hut Love’ despite Meera’s open disapproval of her.

In a tweet posted on Thursday, Mahira has expressed immense admiration for veteran actress Meera, after she watched the trailer of ‘Parey Hut Love’.

“I just saw a little preview of one of the songs of #pareyhutlove and the song and everyone in it is fantastic…but man you can’t look away from Meera Jee!! Owns every frame! @TheMeeraJee,” wrote Mahira.

On the other hand, Meera is said to be quite vocal in passing negative remarks about Mahira, where on one hand she says Mahira is an over-rated actress,  on the other she says it is her who should have been chosen to work opposite Shah Rukh Khan.

“There are better actors so please stop promoting Mahira. It is unfair to other stars in the film industry,” Meera said in a tweet.
