Driver hospitalized after possible road-rage incident in far northeast Dallas

One person was hospitalized after they were shot while chasing a pickup that struck their car Thursday morning, Dallas police said.

It happened around 4:45 a.m. on Greenville Avenue in far northeast Dallas when the driver of a white car pursued another driver in a pickup that had hit the white vehicle, police said.

The pickup driver opened fire, hitting the driver of the car, who was taken to an area hospital with injuries that weren’t considered life-threatening, police said.

No information about the suspect was available.
