Father calls 911 after son shot, killed in northeast Houston

A father called 911 early Friday morning telling police his son had been shot dead inside a car in northeast Houston.

This shooting happened shortly before 5 a.m. in the 13200 block of Granada Street, just east of Uvalde Road. Paramedics rushed to the neighborhood and pronounced the man dead, police say

Police are working to develop suspects, although officers did not initially have any suspect descriptions to release. It is unclear what led to the gunfire.
