Investigators with the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office are asking the public for help in identifying a suspect in a burglary case.

According to a news release, deputies were called about 3:40 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, to a business in the 7700 block of State Highway 99 in the Richmond area.

Deputies found a business had been burglarized and 79 pairs of designer eye glass frames, ranging from Prada, Versace to Armani, were missing,” the Sheriff’s Office reported. “Detectives estimate the resale value of the stolen items are up to $20,000.”

Investigators report that surveillance footage showed a vehicle of interest to be a late-model white Honda Civic.

The suspect is described as a male with a thin build and thin mustache.

“He is seen wearing a navy blue and gray Astros baseball cap with different colored surgical gloves,” investigators reported in the news release. “The suspect also appears to have a rosary and cross tattoo on the back of his left hand.”
