SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News –  ) :Additional Commissioner-I Akhtar Hussain Qureshi has said a polio immunisation campaign will be conducted from June 17 to 20 in all the union councils of Sukkur division.Presiding over a meeting here on Thursday to review the arrangements for the campaign, he said that the district administration would take all possible steps for the immunisation of children against polio disease

He urged parents to extend full cooperation to anti-polio teams so that the drive could be made successful.

In this regard, all the arrangements have been finalised by the district administration and polio teams would go door-to-door to administer poliodrops to around 3,44,804 children under the five years of age.

Officials of the health department at a briefing informed that adequate security measures would be taken during the anti-polio drive.
