Man critically wounds himself while playing with gun in Pleasant Grove, Dallas police say

A 19-year-old man accidentally shot himself in a vehicle Saturday evening in Pleasant Grove, Dallas police say.

Police said someone who had been in the vehicle with him in the 8600 block of Tonawanda Drive, near Bruton Road and Loop 12, said he’d been playing with a gun.

The man was taken to the hospital in critical condition. His name was not released.
