The mother jumped in the vehicle in an attempt to save her daughter, but the man pushed her from the vehicle and drove off, police said.

Video from a nearby home security camera recorded the woman frantically calling for help after the child was taken.

“Help me, please. My daughter just got kidnapped,” she said

An Amber Alert was issued for Salem, KXAS-TV(NBC 5) reported. She was last seen wearing a teal shirt and green leggings, according to the station. She is 4-foot-5 with brown hair and blue eyes, police said.

Police are looking for a gray, four-door sedan with alloy wheels driven by a bald black man around 40 years old with “light- or caramel-colored skin,” NBC 5 reported.
