Homicide detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a man whose body was found in a northwest Houston ditch Thursday morning.
Houston paramedics were called out to check on the man, who was found along W. 12th Street near Hempstead Road around 7 a.m., according to the Houston Police Department. When medics arrived, they called for police officers to come to the scene
His body was found in a remote stretch of W. 12th Street between West Loop 610 and Hempstead Road near the Lazybrook neighborhood.
