Man shot dead during dispute with wife, 15-year-old stepson in north Harris County

A 29-year-old man was fatally shot Sunday night during a dispute with his wife and teenage stepson at a home in north Harris County, authorities say.
Authorities are currently searching for the 15-year-old stepson, who fled the scene after the shooting, according to Metro Video.
Harris County deputies say they don’t know who pulled the trigger around 10 p.m. Sunday at the home in the 12000 block of Wild Pine.
Deputies said the victim and his wife got into an argument when the stepson got involved. Several of the stepson’s friends who were at the home also got involved, deputies said.
“We’re trying to narrow down exactly what happened,” Sgt. Greg Pinkins said during a news briefing on the scene.
A one-year-old child was in a different room in the home during the shooting, Pinkins said. Deputies were still interviewing the people in the home early Monday morning.
