Missing El Paso boys found safe in Mexico, returned to the U.S.

UPDATE: The two missing boys who were allegedly abducted from the El Paso area have been found safe in Mexico, according to the El Paso Police Department.

El Paso police began their search on Saturday for two missing boys they believed were in “grave or immediate danger” 26-year old male suspected of abduction

Police sent out an Amber Alert in Texas Saturday afternoon that they are looking for  Leonardo Ortega, 8, and Matias Carrillo, 2, according to an AMBER alert notice from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Police are still searching for Justin Carrillo, 26, who is allegedly connected with the boys’ abduction.

Carrillo was described as 190-pound man about 5 feet 10 inches tall with hazel eyes, brown hair and a short beard.

The suspect was last heard of in El Paso and is driving a black 2003 Hyundai Elantra with a Texas license plate of KYR4562.

Leonardo, who just turned 8 at the beginning of June, has black hair, brown eyes and was wearing a white shirt and navy blue Croc shoes, according to an AMBER alert notice from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Leonardo is 3 feet, 9 inches, weighing about 65 pounds.

Matias, who will turn 3 Aug. 5, is 3 feet tall and about 50 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray oneseie and has black hair and brown eyes.

It is unclear at this time how the suspect is connected to the boys.
