Mohsin Abbas Haider is about to drop some singles

Good news for all those waiting for new Pakistani music: Mohsin Abbas Haider is about to release some new singles.

Mohsin is a jack of all trades artist who sings, acts, writes and hosts as well. In a recent conversation with Images, he revealed that he’s working on releasing new singles!

“Music is definitely in the pipeline. It’s taking time because as you all call me a multi-tasker and a multi talented person so I’m involved in many different projects right now,” said the Meri Guriya actor.

About his upcoming songs, he shared: “I’m working on a Punjabi romantic sufi song and one very fun Urdu song that’s likely to become a wedding favourite”. In the past he has composed and sang songs for the movies Na Maloom Afraad and Load Wedding. He added, “I write and compose my own songs. ‘Be Parwah Dhola’ my first song was composed and written by my uncle Riaz Anjum sahab. Since then the songs I’ve written and sung for movies have all been composed by me”.

He was also featured on Coke Studio where he performed his song Uddi Ja.

He also added that singles are the future now. “Everyone’s making singles, it doesn’t matter who’s album came out last, to be honest. Everyone releases singles and makes videos and shares them on Facebook and other social networks. I think we aren’t used to royalty music but hopefully that will improve so artists are able to make more music”.

While he hasn’t exactly revealed when he will be releasing new music, we’re going to be keeping our eyes and ears peeled for this one
