One dead after two found shot Wednesday in South Dallas

Two people were shot Wednesday evening, one of them fatally, near the intersection of South Boulevard and South Ervay Street, police said.

Officers responded about 7:58 p.m. to a shooting call in the area and found the two victims, one male and one female.

Both were transported to a local hospital, where one was pronounced dead.

No further details were available, and the incident remains under investigation.
