Pakistani Movies &TV artists cricket team contest for Eid festival tournament in Dallas

Dallas: Pakistani visiting artists in Tahseen Javed Eleven and local Dallas team A Z Eleven came to contest for Eid festival tournament. Star studded Tahseen Javed eleven defeated local team by a big margin and won the trophy. Sing Love Entertainment were the host of this match.

The visiting Pakistani stars played under captaincy of Tahseen Javed, other team players included Humayun Saeed, Syed Jibran, Farhan Ali Agha, Fahad Mustafa, Kamran Jilani, Mohsin Talat, Faiq Khan, Masood Qazi, Noman Habib, Abbas Jaffery, Salman Saeed, Mukhtar Ahmad and Nawab Alam.

The Dallas Eleven was led by Azhar Qasmi, other players were Mohammad Abbas, Mohammad Salman Bhujani, Shahid Alam, Nadeem, Mohsin Ali, Asif Khan, Sajid Siddiqui, Arif Hashmi, Adnan Ahmad, Inam Sherwani and Aal e Ali.

A Z eleven after winning the toss elected to bat and scored 131 in 20 overs. The visiting artists team scored the winning total with a loss of 7 wickets. Shahid Alam scored a fifty, while Azhar Qasmi bowled well. Abbas Jaffery from visiting team scored 91 runs and was declared the man of the match. Saud and Mukhtar took 4 wickets and were declared best bowlers of the match.

Many cricket fans came to see the match and meet with Pakistani TV and film stars. Match ended with trophies and recognitions. The spectators were fully entertained as they said that this match brought memories from back home.

A cricket match between Pakistani visiting stars and Houston local team washed out by rain. The visiting team was to play against local Rafieh eleven. The match though started with Humayun Saeed and Abbas Jaffery came to bat but had to be abandoned as dark clouds poured lot of rain and thunder. Many people gathered to see the game went home disappointed. Though they succeeded to take pictures with visiting artists. The game was organized at Smart Choice stadium in Houston.
