PTN and Urdu Ghar hosted an special evening with renowned Urdu poet and writer Raees Warsi

Dallas: Pakistan Television Network PTN and Urdu Ghar hosted an special evening with renowned Urdu poet and writer Raees Warsi. The event was attended by a large number of men and women with literary taste. The event was presided by famous TV star Neelofer Abbasi, where Ashfaq Khan, Naeem Hashmi, Furqan Haider, Awais Naseer, Younus Ajaz and Naseer Warsi were also among participants. Addressing the gathering Neelofer Abbasi said that she personally is aware of the scholarly write ups and poetry of Raees Warsi. She said that Raees Warsi is an excellent writer and a truthful poet. She said that Mr. Warsi inherited poetry from his father and his brother as they were
also great poets. Addressing the gathering Raees Warsi said that great people always acknowledge the stature of other great people. He said that PTN worked to serve the Urdu poetry and culture in New York and Khalid Altaf worked a lot in this regard. Raees Warsi recited his poetry as well. The event ended with a musical program where performances of Hina Khalid, Javed Mirza, Ashfaq Khan, Yousuf Desai, Dr. Ajaz and Rehan were liked by all the participants. Among the participants were Dr. Amir Suleman , Rana Mohammad Riaz, Jago Times CEO Zahid Khanzada, Mohammad Shah and Maqsood Ali and many others.
