As our daily way of life continues to rapidly change due to the coronavirus pandemic, it’s important for Irving residents to remember two things: There’s no reason to start hoarding vast amounts of food from the supermarkets, and local restaurants are going to need patrons’ support now more than ever.
While Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins has ordered the closure of dine-in restaurants, bars and more, many continue to serve customers via drive-throughs, curbside pickup and delivery. Without those options to keep kitchens running, many in the food industry stand to lose their jobs.
