Scattered storms, then a pattern change

Enjoy these July showers and storms while we have them, because a hotter and drier pattern is on the way for later in the week.

In the meantime, scattered showers and storms are possible tonight through Tuesday. Storms will bring periods of gusty winds, heavy rain and lightning. Widespread severe weather is not expected, but stronger storms could produce small hail and gusty winds.

By midweek rain chances will end with temperatures heating up. We will probably see our first 100 degree days over the weekend.
