Sheep on the lam in Houston herded home by deputy constable

A Harris County deputy showed that he has a duty to protect its citizens, no matter what species it is.

At around 2 a.m., Corporal John Baker of Harris County Constable Precinct 4 responded to reports of a loose sheep around the 2400 block of Broken Bow

According to Constable Mark Herman, the animal was wandering in the middle of the road.

“The officer actually had to tie a string around it and lead it back to his squad car,” Herman said over the phone. “But it was able to be safely returned to its owner.”

In a Facebook post from Herman, he wrote, “we at Precinct 4 do more than police for our citizens
