Shooting victim found in Buckner Terrace, Dallas police say

Dallas police found a wounded person in Buckner Terrace late Saturday who said he’d been shot after he got into an argument with a woman.

Officers were called about 11:30 p.m. to the 6900 block of Thornwood Drive, where they found the victim lying on the ground with a gunshot wound.

He told police he’d gotten into an dispute with the woman at a business before she got into a truck, police said. When he drove away, the truck pulled next to him and someone in it began shooting into his vehicle, police said.

Police did not specify what business the victim was at or where the shooting took place.

The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to a hospital.

Police did not release further details, including a description of the woman or the truck.
