Shooting wounds man outside Far East Dallas nightclub

A man ran to Walmart and called police after he was shot outside a nightclub in Far East Dallas on Wednesday morning, Dallas police said.

The shooting occurred around 1 a.m. in the 3700 block of Dilido Road near Interstate 30. The victim, who had injuries that were not considered life-threatening, told police that four men approached him in his vehicle and started shooting.

He and his girlfriend ran across the street to the store after his car stalled and he realized he had been shot, police said.

Police found a car with several bullet holes in it. No other injuries were reported.

No information about the attackers was available.
