Southlake’s latest COVID-19 case numbers, plus what’s open or closed and where to get tested

Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 coronavirus earlier this year, Southlake has recorded a total of 398 cases as of Thursday, according to the city’s website.

Testing locations

Tarrant County operates two locations with free testing in Fort Worth and Arlington. Other locations, including ones in Southlake, can be found on this map and may require payment.

What’s open or closed

When Texas began reopening the economy May 1, the state saw a sharp spike in cases.

  • The Marq Southlake has reopened. Read more here.
  • Garbage service has returned to its normal schedule including recycling and brush pick up. Learn more here.
  • Southlake parks have reopened. Playgrounds and outdoor basketball courts have reopened, with others scheduled to reopen soon. Click here for more information.
  • The Southlake Public Library reopened to walk-in guests June 4.

As Texas continues to move forward with its phased reopening, the city of Southlake urges residents to maintain social distancing, regularly wash their hands, and avoid going out while sick, among other measures. The state requires residents to wear masks in public.
