Suspect wanted after shooting death of 2 women in Upper Kirby apartment

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A man believed to have shot and killed two women in an Upper Kirby apartment Friday is still on the run a day after the murders.

It happened around 6 p.m. in the 3200 block of Norfolk Street.

Officers found the women had gunshot wounds when they searched the apartment complex for the source of the gunfire, Houston police said.

Residents in the complex said they heard the gunshots from a first floor unit.

Investigators believe some kind of disturbance may have led to the shooting that involved an ex-boyfriend of one of the victims.

By Saturday afternoon, police were still looking for the shooter, who was described as a white man 20-30 years old and is approximately 6-feet tall. He was last seen driving a black BMW sedan with New Jersey license plates YJT-75Y.
