Wet Monday ahead

Wet weather has returned to North Texas this Monday morning. Waves of rain will move through during the morning, with some stronger storms expected this afternoon. While widespread severe weather is unlikely, there is a slight chance some storms could produce some gusty winds and even small hail. These stronger storms are most likely to be to the east of Dallas.

Half of an inch to an inch of rain is expected across Dallas-Fort Worth. Rain chances will end from west to east Monday night. Some lingering drizzle may hang on into Tuesday morning. Otherwise, most of Tuesday will be dry with sunshine returning.

Wednesday will be dry with plenty of sunshine and highs back in the 70s. Additional rain chances will return by late in the week.
